Kansas State University - Manhattan, Kansas
5,900 Square Feet
Jardine Building 5 was constructed for a multi-use facility of residential and commercial spaces adjacent to the "Plaza Neighborhood." The Ebert Mayo Design Group provided interior architecture design for the 5,900 square feet of first floor commercial space.
The tenant improvements have received LEED Commercial Interiors Gold Certification. Building 5 is Kansas State University's first LEED-Commercial Interior certified project. Some of the items contributing to the LEED Gold Certification include Energy Star Appliances, recycled leather tiles and wood flooring, recycled content wall covering and porcelain tile, LED lighting, reused furnishings, recycled brick from original Jardine Complex Buildings, and a reused replica bar from the Kansas Museum of History Carrie Nation Exhibit.
